East Yorkshire District Association organises talks for members covering a wide variety of subjects of interest to the vegetable grower, exhibitor and general gardener. Meetings are held at The Conservative Club, Wylies Road, Beverley, HU17 7AP which is situated nearly opposite the North Bar gate.  The Club has its own car park, accessible on payment of a small fee which typically works out at £2.50 per meeting.

Meetings are normally held
on the last Monday of each month commencing promptly at 7.30pm and finishing at around 10.00pm. Meetings usually include a light buffet which is taken midway through the evening and drinks may be purchased from the Club bar. The comfort break also enables the raffle to be drawn and any other newsworthy items to be communicated to members and visitors.

We organise visits to members' allotments and gardens and outings to commercial nurseries and other external sites of particular interest, especially during the summer months.

We organise our own annual Vegetable Show (see EYDA Show Results 2018).  Except for the sponsored NVS Plaque Class, you do not need to be a member of NVS to exhibit vegetables at our Show.

Non-members are welcome to attend any of our functions and are encouraged to join the NVS (National Vegetable Society) by clicking on this link

A range of NVS-specific clothing can be ordered and purchased.  Items currently available to buy are: baseball cap - £4.58, apron - £10.28, fleece bodywarmer - £15.98, fleece jacket - £21.86, sweatshirt - £9.98, polo shirt - £6.50.  Prices include postage.  If interested, please contact Keith Abel for more details.
